> Walk into every meeting knowing exactly who you're talking to and why.

30 minutes before each meeting, Amy prepares a briefing on everyone in the room, their background, your shared history, open items, and what you should be trying to accomplish.

## What you get

* Profiles of each attendee: role, background, recent activity
* Summary of your last interaction with them (email threads, past meetings, CRM notes)
* Relevant context from your files or deals associated with them
* Suggested agenda points and questions to ask
* Any prep materials attached to the calendar invite, already summarised

## When to use it

* You have back-to-back meetings with little time to prep between them
* You're meeting a client or prospect you haven't spoken to in a while
* You're joining a call someone else organised and need to get up to speed fast

## How to activate

Ask Amy to prep you ahead of a meeting.

```text title="Copy and send to Amy" wrap theme={null}
Prep me for my next meeting. Send me a briefing on who is attending: their role and background, a summary of our last interaction, relevant context from my files or open deals, and suggested agenda points and questions.
```

<Note>
  Amy can also log key takeaways and action items after the meeting. Pair this recipe with Meeting Follow-Up to close the loop automatically.
</Note>

<Tip>
  Save a meeting-prep template to your [context library](/context-library), and Amy will brief you in the same structure every time.
</Tip>

## Make it a routine

Better as a [routine](/routines) than a request, because you always know about the meeting after you needed the prep.

```text title="Copy and send to Amy" wrap theme={null}
Every weekday at 7:30am, look at my calendar for the day and send me a prep briefing for each meeting: who is attending with their role and background, a summary of our last interaction, relevant context from my files or open deals, and suggested agenda points and questions.
```
