# Tone of Voice

> Amy reads your sent mail and builds a profile of how you write, then drafts in your voice instead of a generic one.

The fastest way to stop rewriting Amy's drafts is to teach her how you write. She reads your sent mail once, builds a profile, and applies it to every email she drafts from then on.

## What you get

* Your typical greeting and sign-off
* Sentence length and paragraph rhythm
* Level of formality, and how it shifts between clients and colleagues
* The phrases you reach for, and the ones you never use

## How to save it

```text title="Copy and send to Amy" wrap theme={null}
Scan my 100 most recent sent emails and build a tone-of-voice profile: my typical greeting, sign-off, sentence length, and level of formality. Save it to my knowledge library as "tone of voice" and use it whenever you draft emails for me.
```

## How to use it

Name it in any request and Amy applies it. She'll also use it automatically on anything she drafts for you.

```text title="Copy and send to Amy" wrap theme={null}
Draft a reply to [contact] using my tone of voice.
```

<Tip>
  Save a second profile if you write differently to different audiences, for example "tone of voice: clients" and "tone of voice: internal", and name the one you want in the request.
